POSTCARDS
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
For this project, students were asked to design a set of three responsive digital postcards that displayed quotes and related images of our choice. We first created unresponsive mockups to explore compositional options suitable for an iphone screen and various window dimensions on a computer screen. Then, using positioning tools and media queries, we built the responive versions to adapt to various window dimensions so that the image would always fill the window exactly and the text would always be legible, appropriately-sized, and appropriately postioned.
