For this project, we created a microsite for a topic of our choice. I decided to research Goblin Valley because it is my favorite places on earth. I visited often as a child and would spend hours climbing on top of these amazing formations. In the microsite, I give a broad overview of the location and its history. I chose imagery that reminded me of memories I have of the place and that also highlighted the unique rock formations.
For this project each student chose their favorite movie and provided data for it including: date, director, stars, short summary, and rating. We then designed a template which needed to be responsive to each of these enteries. I decided to stick to a very simplified design which organized the text in a clear and concise manner.
For this project we each chose three quotes that somehow related to one another. I decided to pick three different quotes from Doctor Suess because I felt those quotes had as much relevancy in my childhood as they do now. I paired these quotes with illustrations by Pascal Campion which helped put a story to the message of the quotes.
