Lyric Sheet
For this project, I created a webpage to display the lyrics of the song "MK Ultra" by Muse. This was not merely an excercise in line and paragraph spacing; I also hoped to convey the spirit of the song in a visually creative way. "MK Ultra" has a sinister feeling, epitomized by the lines "They're breaking through/ We are losing control." The monotype font references the cold, impersonal typefaces of old computers, while the flickering TV screens and smashed glass emphasize the tension in the song. Typefaces used include Lucida Console and PressStart2PRegular.
